Week 3:  Get Your Product Sample

Now that you've decided what you will sell, you'll need to find a manufacturer to produce it for you.  We'll show you some good tools for finding manufacturers on sites like Alibaba who can build your product at a reasonable price.
Create Your Amazon Selling Account
In order to post your product on Amazon, you'll create your own personal Amazon Selling Account; this will allow you to post your product on Amazon and sell it to customers all over the world.
Get Product Samples
Get some sample products from manufacturers to verify that they are high-quality, durable, excellent goods that will represent your brand.  

Weeks 4-6:  Develop your Brand
Now it's time to add those important touches to your product brand:  your product's name, slogan, and logo.  Having an attractive brand can do wonders for generating huge sales!

Develop Your Brand
If your product is somewhat different from other products on Amazon, you'll make a lot more money.  We'll show you how to distinguish your product through your own exclusive brand.  
Develop Your Slogan
A slogan can capture millions of customers' hearts and can motivate them to purchase your product.  Learn exactly how to craft a winning slogan for your product and capture a chunk of the market!
Develop a Product Name
A name can also make your product memorable--people will talk about it and tell their friends about it.  We'll show you some great tricks that top experts use to come up with excellent names.
Develop a Logo
A picture is worth a thousand words--and your logo is the same.  We'll walk you through some ways you can create a logo that matches the type of emotional response you want to create from your customers.
Get UPC Codes
We'll show you why you need Universal Product Codes (UPCs) and how to cheaply get them.
Create Your Packaging
The packaging of the product can communicate the quality of the product.  We'll show you how to create some nice-looking packaging for your product, without overspending.

Weeks 7-10:  List your Product
During this section, you'll focus on creating a page on Amazon where customers can see your product name, product description, and product images.  You'll also learn how to make sure your product appears when customers search for it.  

Add Your Product Title to Amazon
Congratulations--you're now ready to list your product on Amazon!  You'll input your product name and its price, and quantity so that people can start purchasing.
Add Bulletpoints
In order to convince people to purchase your product, you'll want to create bulletpoints that accurately describe its benefits.  We'll walk you through how you can transform your current product features into bulletpoints that will compel customers to purchase.
Add a Product Description
A product description is another way to help the customer understand more about your product, and in this lesson we'll provide you with a template you can use to create professional and compelling product descriptions super quickly.
Choose Keywords
Customers on Amazon often do a search for the product that they're looking for.  We show you how to make sure that your product appears when they search for keywords related to your product.
Take Product Pictures
Your product pictures need to be high-quality in order for you to sell a ton of product every day (and that's what we're going for--a TON!)  We'll show you some great sites you can use to get professional photographs for your products at around $5 a piece.
Gather Customer Reviews
You want to make sure customers give your product the highest ratings possible.  This will greatly increase your sales, since others will be compelled to buy your product based on the reviews they read.  We will show you how to gather your first few reviews and why its critical to focus on them.
Subscribe to Fulfillment by Amazon
One of the most amazing parts of selling on Amazon (and one of the most commonly overlooked), we will show you the benefits of fulfillment by Amazon and walk you through how you can have Amazon deal with all the shipping to your customers as well as manage all the customer service and returns.  You will gain efficiencies greater than 100%!
Add Your Bank Details
In order for Amazon to pay you, they need your bank details (not just your credit card info).  Good thing you set up a business bank account bank in Week 1--we'll show you how to use this same information to fill out Amazon's bank detail form.

Weeks 11-12:  Expand your Business
Now that you're generating sales, it's time to hyperboost sales by taking advantage of more advanced tactics to get a greater number of reviews and get a greater number of people to view your product through Amazon advertisements.

Test and Iterate
Once you've sold some of your products, its important to refine your product description, bulletpoints, and images so that you sell as much as possible.  This is the time for you to tweak all of those factors in order to make sure you have the optimal Amazon product that gives you top profits.
Order Additional Units
By now you probably have run out of your initial inventory...and that's a good thing!  It means customers have purchased your product and you need to restock your supply so you can sell to even more customers.  We'll show you how to go back to your manufacturer and negotiate for more items, at a lower price.
Add Your Freebies
We mentioned earlier that reviews are important and including freebies in your product is a great way of increasing both the number of reviews your product gets as well as its average rating.  We'll show you how you can quickly do this.
